I'm taking my first steps to recover the moxy that my teams had prior to this new update. Unfortunately, those steps include eliminating what has become a hallmark of my teams--The stifling defense that blitzed with no abandon.
I say eliminating, but perhaps more accurately I am reducing this brand of defense. I don't know if it will help, but it certainly couldn't be any worse than what I have witnessed from my teams. I dread that this may only be the beginning of what becomes a complete remodeling of my defense.
The offense is in no better shape. I haven't decided if I will employ the "bombs away" approach that I have seen by so many or if I will continue with my current set-up, making changes mostly to the plays being used.
I have made it no secret that I am displeased with the direction this game has suddenly taken, but I finally decided to try and do something about it rather than just complain. Please understand, that CrazyRazor's brash statements after games will not disappear. They are a part of who I am. I am trying to curtail them for the time-being, due to this drastic change that has taken place with the game.

To everyone: Good luck finding your groove and mad props if you never lost it!

I know, but I'm not counting on that. My teams have been decimated for calling blitzes. I won't risk it at this point. It's high time I checked out what some of these other plays can do anyhow. I'm still not impressed with zone coverages, but I'll implement them if need be.

Also, purely anecdotal, but Medium and Long passes seem to trigger wobbly passes LESS OF THE TIME when compared to Short passes.

Don't ask me. It doesn't make sense to me either. I also haven't done a full statistical breakdown to see if it's completely true, but even if it isn't, it's still better to throw longer routes in 0.4.3 since your WR is just going to stop or drop the ball regardless of the route distance.
