This happens to me all the time. Guys with a vol under 20 typically go -5, give or take a couple of points.

I don't mind when a low vol player drops points when I change their position, but 0 Vol should me you get what you see.

0 volatility does not mean 0 movement, it means the lowest probability for movement. Just like a 100-skilled catch WR will not catch 100% of the passes thrown to him. Nothing is absolute.
However, that -3 could easily be recovered during the season, because 0 means he has just as much chance of going up as going down and the amounts will be very small. Remember, too, that a player's first training camp and first season will have a significant amount of movement as opposed to the rest of his career.

Unless this changed without any of us knowing, this is completely untrue. Any player that busts at camp busts for their entire career. Any player that booms at camp, booms their entire career.

That has been my observation as well. Upward or downward trend stays true throughout the first few seasons

I track progression and I’ve seen guys go down a point with low vol and then back up but mostly due to my weights and the speed or acceleration change with position changes. I’ve found that low vol is still just as risky as high vol though and it is frusrating when a low vol guy loses like 6 points. It’s all a crapshoot from my perspective lol
