I don't really know them, I just know this song but never been curious enough to listen some others.
Maybe I know some other songs without knowing it's them that made it then lol |

City : Am Fenster
German cult song of the (ex-GDR) band City, which then (1978) and still today fascinated East and West. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmysaBTPtyQ&ab_channel=TheEightiesfanatic%E2%99%AA |

Tough Call. I think RJD makes the difference over Whitesnake Beta. Certainly easy to see the shift in Ritchie's playing 74 to 77 - and neat. Whitesnake Beta's ins't chopped in a few places, so a better recording (was that a live, national ABC brodcast?) Good finds! Thx!

Ya know now, that you mention it I feel like this Deep Purple version is short. I kinda remember Coverdale having two sections where he tests "how high can he go" segments in the original. I may have pulled a cut version. Which sucks on my part cause Coverdale gave it his all and it most likely set off his career. I was really hoping Dio would do the same in Rainbows version but he kept it kool. If I find a better version I'll edit that post with it.
I saw Queensryche open for Dio in Sacramento. Geoff Tate can get up there no two ways about that. Idk if that fired Ronnie James up or what, but he got higher in that show. My buddy and I looked at each other like what the **** did we just hear. I saw Dio a few times out west including their debut at the Antioch Concert Barn and never heard him go off like he did that night. I think my ears are still ringing from that gig @ the Concert Barn show. Barns are loud. lol

Tangental: saw Geoff Tate in 2014 at my local civic center. Rudy Suazo was on bass FFS.
1000 seat venue. SO tasty. Defenitely watched Rudy the entire time... No doubt Tate has top teir talent. Setlist: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/geoff-tates-queensryche/2014/farmington-civic-center-farmington-nm-43ce7727.html |

K.K.'s Priest will be releasing album #2 in late September. They have former Judas Priest members K.K. Downing and Tim "Ripper" Owens, and honestly they sound better than Judas Priest right now.
Listen to this and you'll likely agree cuz this song is fire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7Ir9BFZKqU |
