Funnily enough, he (pc????) was asking/getting advice on a league chat in one of the leagues I play. Can't remember what about, but something cap related - maybe coaches.

Anyway, part of the problem re: cap is the renegotiation "wizard", although in this instance wizard translates into Moron.

The contract bit of the code needs work. How many guys leave through free agency demanding tens of millions in bonus, then sign for next to nothing with little or no bonus

So he can communicate....so why doesnt he ever respond to PMs from league admins warning him if he doesnt he is booted?

The renegotiation wizard is useless. This is first and foremost a roster management sim and you if cant mange a cap....you should seek help fast because there is no redos in this game.

Owners shouldnt wait till the last minute to extend a core player. The sooner the better. Free agency is full of 5th year starters that never should have hit the free agent market. These studs should be extended in their 2nd or 3rd season to 6 year deals.

The game makes it easy. The player tells you the exact bonus he is looking for and you can manipulate the terms to save cap space in many cases.

I get needing help but I will never understand ignoring a PM from an admin. Obviously he needs help and any admin worth anything would offer assistance

He auto-ejected in Elite, but he was actually doing okay in there. Some nutty add/drops on the waiver wire of the same player repeatedly, but the team wasn't in horrid shape when he dropped it.

Like I said, he has only played an entire season in 1 league which he admins and that team is a trainwreck in its 3rd season.

MFN tracks teams owned in leagues only if you finish a season with a team....his teams owned page doesnt include at least half a dozen teams I know of where he bailed or was booted mid season.

The only way to learn is to keep a team through multiple seasons and figure out the ins and outs of managing a roster over the course of seasons.

UPDATE

PC2256 who is league admin of the NFL minor league has destroyed his team so thoroughly that he abandoned the team. The league is under the ownership threshold and cant spin.

He keeps requesting ownership in one of my leagues which I keep rejecting and I sent him a long PM explaining why he wont be welcome in most private custom leagues because he has been deemed a high risk owner that destroys teams.

No response but he did request ownership in another league of mine.

Clearly he is hoping one of my leagues doesnt need admin approval so he can attack.

If you leave you leagues open....pay attention in case he joins.....he only needs one sim to spin to do his damage.

He can join an hour before the spin.....create destruction.....and bail before an admin even becomes aware.

Trust me.....I've had it happen to me and had to get JDB to roll back the sim.

If you value your league......allowing anyone to join without admin approval is the same as surfing the net on your computer and downloading stuff without antivirus software.

These destructive owners are a virus to this game.
