I like the idea of having only rookies on a "practice" squad could possibly make it rookies and second year players to widen the pool a touch.

I'm still unlikely to do a practice squad, I still hold that the added confusion and work isn't going to be worth the minimal gain. On the other hand, I do see an advantage of reducing the opinion hit based on the skill of the player, so only really good players are difficult to re-sign immediately, but a 60-rate player will gladly take his job back if offered.
Just curious, will this be a hot fix/patch or a part of the new update?

2043 2043 Game 13 DT Billy Chitty Serious Injury (Leg)
2043 2043 Game 13 TE John Flock Serious Injury (Concussion)
2043 2043 Game 13 QB Justin Gaines Injury (Foot)
2043 2043 Game 13 CB Freeman Tomita Serious Injury (Knee
This is starting to feel like some real football . Two starters put on the IR, a freak qb injury and a concussion that will sit the starting te till the playoffs all in one game.
Some notes are everyone is playing alot of snaps and not STs . Probably my highestate totals ever. Still, I never seen such severity in one game from one team. Fatigue is set 30 for the linemen as well.

Here is something else that might be a good option for this simulation in the future. As we all know, one of the things we cannot do here, which is fundamental in football, is make in-game adjustments and changes. Well I want to talk about a possible added option for the MISC section for individual positions. We can adjust when they come out of the game for a rest, but we do not have an option to take them out of the game when they get an injury.
For example: In our CUST 35 league, my 2nd year RB Michael Dalgren was in the top 5 leaders in rushing. I noticed early on in the 2nd quarter every time he got the ball from hand off or pass, he was very noticeably slower and not productive at all. Logic would tell all of us here to think......" Awe man he must have gotten injured. I wish there was a way to take him out of the game so it does not get much worse." But we cannot do this... In fact.... our coaches do not care if the RB can barely walk............ They are like " GET THE **** BACK IN THERE AND STOP CRYING!"
What I am asking is that if it would be possible to add another slide bar adjustment for in-game injuries for positions similar to the one for stamina. This way if they get an injury in the first quarter.... we can have an adjustment that takes them out of the game completely and thus increasing the probability of having only a 2 week injury instead of a 9 week one.... cause the running back was forced to keep playing.... with one leg.

Do you guys understand what I am getting at?
This topic has been brought up before, a simple toggle for injured players to return or not should exist. This would be especially useful for preseason or non-important games. No head coach who wants to keep his job would put a starter back into a preseason after even the mildest of injuries but this sim goes by how many quarters you want starters to play.
Speaking of topics that's been brought up before, I got another major injury right before the playoffs where I should be able to use IR but can't.
Injuries happen, but an ankle at 7% this late in the season means he's pretty much done. It says it's a 9 week injury and we only have 6 weeks to the League Championship but I can't put him on IR.
He is also my #1 WR so there is no freaking way I'm throwing him under the injury bus to finish him off.
Look at this, after 3 games this is my OL situation:
I dismissed Tarquin's comment about teams that did well the previous season seems to be hit hardest - now I'm starting to wonder if there is something to #ParityParanoia. This team won the league championship the previous season.
