I'm Russia in this league and I don't think I should be in the playoffs based on losing tiebreaker #4.

I'm hoping someone, anyone can tell me how I actually qualify for the playoffs. According to my calculations, I lose on strength of victory as we did not play each other and we have the same conference record and the same 2-3 record vs our 4 common opponents.

U.A.E.'s strength of victory (winning % of teams they beat) is .382 to my .320.

That's funny but I'm hoping for a serious answer. The integrity of every league's playoffs is more important than me getting knocked around in the wildcard game by a 14-2 team that's beat me twice already.

I think Russia wins by common opponents: Switzerland and Israel.

Russia was 1-1 against those opponents, UAE was 1-2 against those opponents.

We had 4 common opponents, also Norway and Thailand

Russia was 1-2 vs Norway and Thailand

UAE was 1-1, making both of us 2-3 vs common opponents

The tiebreaker also states "a minimum of 4" common opponents, so just 2 shouldn't count and we go to strength of victory, which Russia loses by far

Ah, ok, the tiebreaker that you win by was net points - after conference games MFN jumps to net points followed by coin toss.
