Without wanting to hijack the thread.
For the first time ever I drafted a QB high in the first round after taking over a cap strapped team a season and a half ago.... this guy https://nfl.myfootballnow.com/player/7439 I've been starting him in pre-season but I assume my best best to get him to hopefully develop quickly is to start him from day one once the season starts and just take my inevitable lumps until his accuracy improves ? |

He has < 40 accuracy, which means he won't complete any passes, and he won't get to at least 50 accuracy this season regardless of whether he plays or rides the bench. I would bench him for the full year. |

I picked up rookie up off waiver this year. He is booming big time but I'm wondering if his low FOV and average INT and ARM are going to keep him from being what I hope he can become. These are his current Max's, still has a way to go to get there.
INT - 52 ACC - 91 ARM - 56 RELEASE - 94 LOOK OFF - 92 FOV - 32 |

Play familiarity takes around a half a season to gel so I think either way is a stragety decision .

I get nervous about high interception rates when my QB is below 90 INT, but I've survived (painfully) with ~75 INT. Similarly, I avoid QBs with below 70 arm. It isn't a dealbreaker, but everything else needs to be perfect. With your guy, the combo of a weak arm and bad INT would scare me. The only way I would keep him is if he were a great kick holder and I needed a QB2. I'm curious to hear others' thoughts on FOV. I have devalued it because it seems like each play has a predetermined go-to receiver anyway (the route that finishes first). |

But I wouldn't trade him for more than a 3rd rounder . Alot of vets sit in fa cause of thier weak arms and have better fov. So, his value for me is in the future as a #2 qb. In version 4.5 I like to force big passes with strong armed guys....I just don't see him hitting those windows 15 -20 yards down feild consistently , but there no reason for him not to manage a game against most opponents . I like those guys to have some speed, scrambling , and fov. He lacks there a bit so he doesn't fit my styles which lowers his grade against elite opponents . Drafted at 7.4 and picking him up in fa is a nice find but he will have a growth period to up his ratings. |

It was more of a challenge , but this qb was in fa and he threw almost 40 regular season TDs and choked in the play offs throwing 3 TDs and 6 ints. Like 64 arm, 60 intelligence , like 75 fov and speed at the time and he was the worst qb I have used in 4.5 , but he made it to the playoffs . |
