They say the Devil wears Prada, and four more teams have lost their 2033 season as the league heads into the Fiendish Four. Still plotting an opponent’s demise are Chicago (SlipperySlope), Ohio (jabillups85), Beaver Dam (CrazySexyBeast), and Texas (loanblood).
The early game brings us to O’Brien Stadium in Charleston, Il, where the Beasts are looking to win a 4th Conference title in 4 years. However, according to Red Dogs head coach Samuel Jordan, the Beasts can expect “a good old fashioned Cuyahoga-ing. We’re going to burn those f... “ He was then forcefully removed by Ohio GM jabillups85, who quickly stammered: 'Well, as we can see, Coach is fired up for the game. We look forward to an exciting matchup this weekend, and may the better team win. ...and we will.”
Meanwhile, in Beaver Dam, head coach Jim Jorgensen quickly and unwittingly became a social media sensation during an impromptu Q&A given on the airport tarmac after last week’s win over Alaska. With perhaps the quote of the year, upon being asked how he felt about the 2033 season, and his team’s chances to beat the Rustlers, Jorgenson shouted “WHAT?” and then walked off, a beer in one hand and a blonde in the other. He never travels anywhere without his Shiba Inu, Fjord.
In an unusual move, the Rustlers have declined to stay in Beaver Dam for the game, instead choosing to stay an hour’s flight away in Racine. Said HC William Moyer: “It’s right in the middle. Ya got Chicago’s best hot dogs, and the world's best Brats. We rented a communal floor above the local brothel. It’s right next door to a Shakey’s and across the street from The Sausage Kitchen. We don’t like cheese, cows are for eatin.”
