I'd assume old UI - more reasonable to say any work going on relates to new UI not old.
Not look at both UIs for draft, but how bad is the variation? Could it be the case some attribute displays have accidentally been swapped, ie look of defence is really pass accuracy, for example?
I mean the players are completely different

Ease of use issue: New website: on Desktop: "Sign up now/ Already Registered? (log in here)!" links. On phone (android): The "Already Registered? (log in here)!" link is at the very bottom of the page. There is only the option to "sign in now" at the top of the page.
Be sweet to click log in here at the top of the page when I'm on my phone/tablet.

I just noticed that clicking "Free Agents" under "Players" in the menu brings up an entirely different list than doing a player search for free agents of all positions. These should have precisely the same output, but they currently do not.

[EDIT] I'm getting the same results on both the new and old UI. I'm using a Laptop (Windows 11) running Chrome.
Also, when you pull up a player card from the special teams page of the depth chart, it just pulls up his base position attributes, there is no way to see the kick returner attributes for your kick returners (and etc. for all ST positions).
I've come to the conclusion that my biggest issue with the new UI is trust. Critical facets of MFN are broken. Rules being my biggest concern.
Additionally: Why does the "# unread posts" looks like a button but is not a link on the right hand side of forum topics not a link? it's my first choice, every time. We consumers are very well trained.
I still think a global "mark all forum posts read" for the forums would be really handy.
I'm not overly sure what the goal of this change might be...? It could only hamper the game community and not lead to positive inclusion for newcomers and others. If you don't want to read messages (not you specifically, Witch), then just ignore them....very simple.
I'm sure JDB has bigger issues/improvements in mind for the game than allowing for such minute changes like this.

Agreed that it is a minor problem, but i will simply add that i have 13443 “unread” community messages, meanwhile my league forums are 100 percent marked as read because i have that option there, and this way i am alerted if there is a new thread or comment. When forums have been around for 10 years and a new user shows up, what is the point of reminding them that there are 14000 plus messages like this sitting around that they never need to see. I’ve been here 4 years, i used the community help and other threads to dig for useful information, but thats an awful lot of outdated an irrelevant email nobody needs to be reminded of for eternity.
UPDATE: There is the individual “mark forum read” button, so I used that for this community thread, so I don’t get the point of a “global” button, unless you just want to clear them all at once…literally only had one major thread mostly “unread”

As for gaming issues, I have a gripe about the default depth charts/programming. I know customizable leagues can alter the position permissions, but why has it ALWAYS been default that the “gunners” are the only positions used for special teams return units? That is the biggest override every depth chart advice thread points out. You gotta get the defensive backs and linebackers off the kick return and get the offensive players with speed and run blocking out there to make lanes for the return man.
The punt return uses the top 4 special team rushers for the front line, though I could argue it should be the front 6, and the outside guys probably should be “gunners” on most real teams, as those are usually defensive backs prepared to blitz or cover in case of a “fake”. But those don’t exist in this game, and defensive players never have any “blocking” abilities, so they are useless when it comes to helping the return man.
As for kickoffs, real teams use offensive players up front and in the wedge. Sure there are linebackers and dbs mixed in, but they are there because they made the teams as special teams depth, meaning they “specialize” in doing this job, which requires Blocking. Simply assigning the “blockers” as at least the front line part of the formation makes sense, and I think the “wedge” ahead of the return man should be TE/FB players…
Or you could update the kick returns to follow whatever the NFL actually changed its rules to, but at least this is how it used to work when this sim started…
