I'm going to figure out where the disconnect is in the logic. The game engine ultimately guards the contract values, so even if you manage to submit an invalid contract offer the player will reject it. But I need to make sure the front-end has the correct guards on it.
I'm going to follow your steps and see if I can reproduce the 75% error when it's not 75%. I couldn't earlier today but that was before your post with instructions to reproduce what you were experiencing.

Yeah if actual on the field production matches default contract values idk if the loophole would be needed. A more core issue is the resign/extension not matching true market value. The rich get richer..
I don’t think i have pursued top tier FAs in real time years due to this nonsense. Honestly, only a small percentage of people would complain about these nuances if we had a fun/fair game engine.
Also,right now a play editor/creator would bring much more value to the game.
Remember, at this stage in development, perfection is not the goal. Infrastructure geared towards growth… ignorance towards core issues until something else is perfect is a big go no where fast
If there’s nothing glaring.:.just Push out the new ui. Move on to the engine

I think this week will be the week to do it. I'm as eager as you guys to get back into the game engine. I'm going to start a separate thread to start to discuss what should be focused on first with the game engine.
I just noticed that Punters can't be put in as kick holders in the depth chart in the new UI.
Maybe this belongs in the game engine forum, but along the lines of the kicking game, the essential pieces are way too difficult to find and develop. There needs to be a lot more guys with long snapping and kick holding skills, and they need to gain experience in those positions much faster (they gain position experience at the same per play rate as all other positions, but they simply don't get the reps, so it takes forever to develop them, and they destroy your kicking game when they aren't fully developed).
My fears of going to new UI are things like the kick holder situation. That is rather detrimental to setting your lineup. If we were to switch to new UI, would there be a prolonged period where the issues are fixed daily?
Once all owners switch there is likely to be increased feedback. It will complicate matters if owners are unable to do the needful while going through spins.
When you are looking at a player's stats, and you expand a season to see the individual games, the result (W or L) is not being displayed properly. Also, it would be really nice to have the game week number displayed on the left here, so in the case of games missed for injury, you can see exactly which games were missed.

I have always wished for an addition that I don't believe I have ever thought to ask for, but while changes are being rapidly and actively made, here goes:
We should have access to full future cap/financial information for our team. On the team page, similar to the "future draft picks", we should have a link to "team financials". It would then bring up a table with the columns:
Year | Salary cap | Total contracts | Total bonuses | Players under contract | Dead cap | Room under cap
and then under that, it provides all of the numbers for every year for which you have a player under contract (around five years out or so). That way, we can plan better for the future, and see more easily when we might need to be more careful, or when we might have some extra room to play with in free agency.

I'm looking at the new website on my phone. On my team page it says division champ multiple times in the same year and on years when I didn't when the division. Some years were wild cards and some missed the playoffs all together but at the top it says division champ. It's the same for a few other teams I checked.
