March is already here, and here’s this month’s update!

In February, I spent most of my development time dusting off the game engine and getting it ready for active work again. I was even able to push an update to the beta environment near the end of the month. If you’re interested, please join MFN-1 to observe and provide feedback as work resumes on the game engine.

On the website front, a few updates were made:

• The “Pending Owners” menu item is now hidden when there are no pending owners
• Fixed an issue where waiver claim contract offers were showing previous years that didn’t apply
• Fixed the team home page dropdown menu on mobile devices
• Fixed the mobile view of standings when spoilers are turned off
• Moved the waiver wire to the top of the column to improve visibility
• Adjusted schedule results formatting

I appreciate all the feedback you’ve been providing. There are still several suggested items that I plan to work on in the coming months.

On a less positive note, I spent a significant amount of time this weekend dealing with an issue in the legacy UI due to its age. Unfortunately, I was unable to resolve it. As a result, the clock is ticking on the legacy UI, and I will need to remove the ability to switch between interfaces later this week.

In the old UI, from the League Home Page, when you click on Player Stats the player name and the position he plays is displayed.

In the new UI, from the League Home Page, when you click on Player Stats only the player name is displayed. It would be preferable if the position he plays would also be displayed, e.g., (RB), (TE), (LDE), (MLB), etc., as has been the standard in the old UI.

On mobile in portrait mode the forum search and thread actions are displaced covering up other information.

I have to sign in every time I check on the game. I don't want to have to log in every time.

Can we get a 2nd pop up whenever we are accepting or rejecting an owner just to make sure we clicked the right button. It would also be helpful if owners couldn't apply for a team unless they are in a subsription tier where they can actually be accepted.

Once again I got a message saying that I need to scout my next opponent in a RO league. So I can confirm that is a problem.

This one surprises me, you shouldn't have to log in every time if you check the 'remember me' box and don't log out. Maybe try clearing your cookies? Something may be corrupt there in your browser.

I cleared my cookies. No change. I logged in after clearing cookies and hit remember me. A few hours later and it made me sign in again. After every time I sign in it takes me to a page that says 419 page expired then I go back to the previous page and I'm signed in until next time.

That's really odd. The 419 means there's something weird going on with your cookies but it's weird that you are logged in after that. Could you try in another browser or in an incognito window? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I tried using Chrome my usual browser and Edge at the same time and it logged me out of Chrome after a few hours but I stayed logged in using Edge.

I have this same, routinely have to log in if not within 2-3 hours of my last log in. I’m exclusively on Safari or Duck Duck Go since my work blocks MFN on my laptop for security concerns. I get the 419 error frequently too. Super frustrating to have to log in this often. Remember Me box does not work.

Sounds like maybe the browser / browser extension is wiping cookies?

Trying to edit my gameplan rules but when I do, my distance to go and field positions reset to default and I want them to stay as I set it. I'm only trying to edit the personnel group the rule is used for, everything else I want to be left alone and not have to set it every game.
