You'll be pleased to know VPNs don't seem to work on MFN; I tried one and pages blocked.

A15 - Salary + Base life of contract seems a bit off to me?

Surely it's the sum of the 6 yearly salaries + the bonus?

Step 9 can be avoided if you can work out why it's failing; clue - it's to do with the bonus calculations... I've leave you to work out why, but another hint is that once you see the difference on failing offers, it's an obvious one.

...but it had to be tried to find out. Unnecessary roughness, Site admins against users.
VPNs should have global authority, not by site approval/denial. IF i can't always use it, why use it at all?
Plus, if one cannot use a VPN, one must go through all the options and settings to not use it on a site by site basis. An even larger problem than not using a VPN at all.
Establishing a VPN is not a simple task in and of itself - especially for the uneducated.

Regarding VPN's - why in the world must the user use them in the first place?
Safety and privacy.
Safety and privacy should be the ultimate opt-in, easy to dictate options for any user of any interface.
Not the haberdashery we have to slug through in the hope of gaining the privacy we are all entitled to.

The web has become anti-user.

All stated and back to the front, super glad for the work being done.

New contract negotiator:

The next update will be Libre Office, since Google Sheets has done all it can. The VPN issue might come from Google since it collects your personal info that a VPN is designed to protect. I'm glad for such a thing in general, but it keeps certain sites from working. Usually in that case, the VPN is more right than the site. The update will come once I experience another rollover. I want a little more experience when the minimum salary is more of a factor. I'm not in five leagues like I used to be!

One issue with a VPN is if I wanted to run multiple accounts, using a VPN makes it easy.

Jsid's original calculations are, from what I can tell, fine.

As I alluded to / teased, step 9 isn't needed if you think about what causes the discrepency...

So, now that the 5% bug has been fixed, I have rounding errors again. If I just bodge everything and produce a reasonably safe answer, that is really simple. But it also doesn't do anybody any good. How close can I come? That's what I'm working on. So it will be a little longer, while I try to tweak the sheet.

The 5% bug has not been fixed, if you slide the sliders all the way right the errors still pop up.

What has been done is a workaround, where you get as close to max offer as you can without getting errors. I don't know exactly what that number is but I'm not trying to spend that much on 1 player either.

I'm feeling particularly helpful.

It's bonus / years for the annual bonus.

So what I do is, as I follow the original jsid layout, I have the sums for each year of the contract.

I then just sum the total of the annual bonuses up, and use the max of that and the requested bonus. I've found sometimes the figure is out by 1-6.
