Agreed, because something is in real life doesn't mean it should be in the game.

This is a sim game, not real life. Real life doesn't have RBs with sub 50 speed in the draft, being just 1 of many instances where MFN will never mimic real life.
this is a suggestions forum, sir

you are opposed to being able to trade a player you just drafted without taking a cap hit?
why?

you believe it would be impossible to create that option?
i feel it would be a good option for MFN. sometimes owners miss their draft times or didnt have time to set manual board. all other players besides rookies are offered contracts
in real life it is exceptionally rare for a team to trade a newly drafted player before signing a contract. only time i know of was Manning/Rivers. they were traded for each other before signing contracts. i think Elway also. either way, each team still must sign the player they drafted, contracts arent automatically issued on draft day
in MFN it is more common for a team to draft a player that may not be wanted since it is not real life. in that case, why not be able to trade the unwanted drafted player before signing a contract without incurring cap hit?
so basically it makes more sense here since it is not real life
suggestion.....step 1 draft player, step 2 click the "offer contract" button. contracts would be automated rookie scale determined by draft order just as it is now. players would not be able to refuse as Manning and Elway did
or step 2 could be trade the drafted player without hitting the "offer contract" button and have no cap hit. the options we have now are to keep the player with automatic contract or cut the player and eat the bonus
