it would be nice if the window was longer. dealing with the scroll while dragging and dropping is a bit of a chore. since we see only five players at a time, when i drag and drop i can only move 5 spaces at a time. would be nice to see 30 at a time. the "manual priority list" is much more important than the space it is given
also, it seems the "all positions" & "draft board" windows in war room are not necessary....just taking up space. the manual priority list alone is sufficient
i suggest having a longer "manual priority list" on the left side of page and the draft round order on the right side.....not much else is needed in war room

The three panels all have need though.
Player list on left needed to enable you to search for players. The manual selection is showing you who you've picked. The final panel shows what your actual draft order will be - showing you the AI determination below your selected players.
It's difficult to see on laptop display how there's the real estate to display everything as you want, including the three panels and the draft rounds.
Move the draft rounds to another tab/page, then as a user you've got to switch tabs/windows.
I'd agree 5 is a small number, but I can't see the screen estate for 30, especially on a mobile phone.

The three panels all do have a distinct function, though I would absolutely not say that there is a need for it. A single complete list of players that you can reorder as you please is absolutely sufficient for drafting. As with anything, there are some tradeoffs with each system, some pros and cons. I see the merit in both approaches, and I'm not sure I have a strong opinion on which would be better without trying the single list approach.
search for draft picks in player search by selecting "draft class"......you can see 20+ per page. much more efficient way of searching for players. click on the players you want to draft and hit "add to draft list" then they are imported to "manual draft list". once your "manual draft list" is set that becomes your "draft board". other two windows arent needed at all. there is no point in having two lists that show the same thing
it is a pain organizing manual draft list because after i dump 20 some players in there i have to go organize them while only being able to see 5 at time. that process could be much more convenient

So, you have time enough to adjust your 32 possible targets on each Draft day? Or do you follow the whole draft day long? As it is a global Browser game, I'm not in the Draft War Room most of the time, because this happens in the middle of the night or very early in the morning over here in Europe.

Which is great if you want to hit player search then manipulate in war room.
The current setup is easier when you're in the situation that your draft board isn't necessarily linear; example, CB might be a low priority, so I set 20 players up only to then see divisional rival pick a fast WR... so would have to go back to player search, back to draft room, re-order. If that's a later round, less time to do all that.
Not impossible, but annoying.

The OG poster is correct. Using the manual draft list is absolutely cumbersome. It is harder now than it was to reorder players within the manual draft list.
I constantly lose players when moving them up. Of course i effort moving them up as much as possible. Moving a player 10+ places actually takes work, and often leads to a player removed from the manual list.
The drag and drop options within the manual draft list and also the gameplanning rules list is not user friendly.
Manipulating the manual draft list is not user friendly. One can make and create every excuse as to why the current system is so great... Yet none of that fixes the manual draft list - or any drag and drop list - issues and concerns.
The manual draft list is prone to removing players as they are moved within the manual draft list. The manual draft list is more than cumbersome to work with. ON the phone, clicking move up and/or m,ove down 20 times is unreasonable.
MFN needs a MOVE TO TOP in so many places. Rules and manual draft list especially. The rules page needs a "deactivate all."
Casually dismissing user concerns as "that is how it is" is bullpoo and all of us know it. We can do better.
on any phone - [] this is the space given in the manual draft list my big index finger has to use. easy to make a mistake. MFN can and should do better.

Martin: In addition to saying "this is how it is" please start asking how "it" can be improved. I appreciate the information. I don't appreciate the absolution. After your details, just ask us "how can MFN improve this?"
Just because "this is how it is" does not mean that is how it will always be. Do your blah blah blahs and then ask us - how would you change this or what can MFN do to improve this?
Create inspiration.

i do my best to check in during draft...... especially when i know my pick is coming up. i queue my priorities ahead of time in case i am not able to. i do all of that thru the manual priority list, which i feel is currently limited. can only see 5 at a time and only way to reorder is by drag and drop, which would be okay if i was able to see more than 5 at a time. 20 would be nice edit: can also change queue with the one up and one down icons which can move a player up one spot or down one
currently there are three draft lists in war room. the pick will be chosen from the top of the manual priority list, so basically it is the only one that matters. if that list is empty then the other one is effective (forget what it is labeled i dont have a war room at the moment to reference), but for me it is never empty unless it is towards the end of the draft and i dont care. even then i at least try to get high volatility players on the list since they are often the only ones that have a chance to make the team
my conclusion, the only things needed in war room are the pick order and manual priority list. option to set weights in case of empty manual list could be helpful for some but that could be done in a drop down menu or perhaps another page. make room for what really matters. split the screen left and right not top and bottom to enable a longer visible queue. use the player serch function for player searching, no need to take up space in the war room with that
