This happens with Spy LBs as well. The LB sits there and pirouettes like a pretty, pretty princess while the play goes on around him.

Are each spot designated for a specific type of performance??? I've seen the 4 offensive awards have three QB's sometimes. And I've never seen an offensive player on the defensive side of the awards.

I would guess he's in the depth chart somewhere on both sides of the ball.
