Watch how this monster TE with 76 SP and 35/50 Break Tackle goes beast mode on my defense. For the record, here's the tackling ability of the first FIVE guys that have a chance to tackle him:

first guy - 92
second guy - 83/100
third guy - 70/95
fourth guy (first guy again) - 92 tackling
fifth guy - 59/67

Then escapes a gang tackle by four of the five guys above.

Defenders are ALWAYS out of position when making a tackle and offensive players break tackles far too easily. I'm pretty sure that JDB has said that SP affects break tackling. This should be changed.

At least you don't have my defense in private75, good god the broken tackles haunt me in my dreams

You mean like this play: https://private75.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/547#104564

This is a good example of how both zone defensive plays and tackling **** right now.

Yeah I get that Liles is a one-of-a-kind beast, but that pretty much happened all game.

Maybe that's one of the reasons why my team has done poorly this year. Since my coach is a heavy zone (3-4) scheme, I have been running more zones than I usually do.

That's working out well

I pulled all zone plays about a month into playing the game. They give up too many big plays because players either are not in their zone or they just stand in one place and watch opponents run by. The only zone I run now is with LBs, but even then, I want my LBs in man as much as possible.

Here's a different example of how tackling is total BS: https://fakepigskin.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/2855#505678

The RB on this play has 30 ball carry, 60 speed, and 100 acceleration. He's plodding to the side line, so the 83 speed, 91 acceleration, and 96 tackle safety lines him up to intercept. Then the RB suddenly changes directions - is literally moving one way and then start moving the other way. I can find this forgivable when a ball carry has >80 ball carry to go with the 100 acceleration, but more or less, this is a perfect example of how defenders get shafted all the time because they are always in pursuit angles that the offensive player gets to dictate.

Of course, a few plays later, my RB went beast mode: https://fakepigskin.myfootballnow.com/gamecenter/view/2855#505692

Fix tackling.
